Dear Maple East Elementary Families,
As you know, Maple East is part of Phase 2 of the Elementary School Air Conditioning Project. The first part of work at your school includes abatement and tile replacement, which will take place over the summer. Construction crews will also begin the process of ceiling removal in hallways and classrooms to prepare for infrastructure installation. This is being completed several months ahead of schedule.
That said, while the main office will remain open, the school will be closed beginning Friday, June 27th, and inaccessible as this work takes place. Please make sure your child has all their personal belongings – including in the lost and found – as they will not be able to retrieve them once the building closes for the summer.
